Lords of the Fallen is also easier than Dark Souls… why is that ? because if you invest experience points in magic like i did, you will quickly eliminate every foes on your path ! There is a spell called “RAM” and it can get you rid of every opponents wearing a shield ! There is also a healing spell, also acting as a decoy for opponents, and though it’s slow to heal you… It’s a Free and endless heal overtime. And there is the Quake Spell… summoning an enormous hammer slamming your foes lol… Well it’s great ! These are good ideas, but the challenge will be reduced as soon as all 3 are maxed.

Concerning Magic i’d like to add that… you can only spend 3 experience points in each of the spells. Even if new levels of magic also requires you to raise your “Faith” Attribute (and not that much…) you can quickly max them, and then focus all of your experience on physical attributes. And as you can also find “Free spell experience points” in treasure chests… That means some of these points will be completely useless if you’re already maxed out.

Bosses are less deadly, but longer to kill than in DS

Most Boss in Lords of the Fallen are quite impressive ! Thanks to the awesome graphics ! (even better than Dark Souls 2) And as in Dark Souls you’ll need to learn their movesets. Are they easier to kill than in Dark Souls ? no… not really ! In Dark Souls 1 & 2 there are many bosses, that you could kill in less than 10 blows ! In LotF it’s another story lol… They got TONS of HP ! They’re also dealing less damage though… so it’s more a matter of “managing your fight”, breath… take your time… and don’t stress too much once it’s nearly dead to not screw your 3 last hits lol.

There’s an important point too ! In LotF there are hidden challenges for every bosses, meaning if you manage to defeat them in a certain way you’ll get the same item as usual, but with an Excellent Permanent Bonus on it ! Like a shield which can break other shields, a powerful scythe capable of killing every mobs from afar… useful against spellcasters ! And even a “poisoned” mace  Check on internet and try as much as you can, to defeat them the way to unlock these special items, because these are truly powerful ! Without them… game difficulty will be more “Dark Souls” oriented.
